Sightseeing city-tour
You will admire panoramic views over the Neva and beautiful central
squares as we drive down the central prospects and city-streets. You will see all the worldwide famous landmarks of the city: the Spit of Basil (Vasilievsky) Island, Saint Isaac’s cathedral (one of the most widely-known landmarks) the Bronze Horseman – an equestrian statue of Peter the Great on Senate Square, the Field of Mars, the cruiser Aurora and, of course, the picturesque Palace embankment and jaw-dropping Palace Square – the heart of the city that witnessed so many dramatic events, the Winter Palace, Mikhailovsky castle and many others.

Peter and Paul Fortress
Peter and Paul Fortress is the first settlement and the cradle of the
city. Nowadays its home to a significant complex offering a bizarre selection of attractions to explore: the famous Cathedral of the Saint Apostles Peter and Paul, Commandant’s House museum representing the history of the city, the Engineer’s House, Museum of Space Exploration, the Mint and the Printing Workshops, Trubetskoy Bastion Prison the Neva Curtain Wall archway and etc.

Isaac Cathedral
This, the fourth largest cathedral in the world, is dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great, who had been born on the feast day of that saint. It is also the second highest Orthodox church in the world, 101.5 meters high, behind the Cathedral of Christ the Savior of Moscow that reaches 103 meters. There were more than 40 different minerals used for its decoration. The plinth was covered with granite, the walls and floors of the interior of Russian, Italian and French marbles, the columns of malachite and lapis lazuli. In the dome of 21.8 meters in diameter, around 100 kilos of gold were used. The cathedral is adorned with 400 works, including sculptures, paintings and mosaics.

Excursion to the State Hermitage Museum
The Hermitage, Russia’s most famous palace and museum, is located within a complex of several buildings along the riverbanks right in the city-center. The general exhibition contains millions of art works: paintings, sculptures, archaeological pieces, numismatics objects and other artefacts.

Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo)
Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin) is the former residence of The Russian imperial family and visiting nobility. Tsarskoye Selo forms one of the World Heritage site. You will walk around the majestic Catherine palace (once the summer residence of the Russian tsars and now a museum) and will see the Amber Room – a reconstructed chamber, decorated in amber panels backed with gold leaf and mirrors, located in the Catherine Palace of Tsarskoye Selo. Constructed in the 18th century in Prussia, the original Amber Room was dismantled and eventually disappeared during WW II.

The Peterhof Museum Complex is one of the most popular museums not only in Russia, but in the whole world. Even a few hours here are enough to feel the spirit of history, which still lives on and breathes in this magnificent place. The architecture and decor of Peterhof reflects all the artistic styles of the past and the personal tastes and preferences of every Russian monarch.

From the deck of the ship you can see a lot of city attractions, including the Palace Bridge, the Hermitage, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Summer Garden, the Summer Palace of Peter the Great, Chizhik-Pyzhik and many others.
